How Barak streamlines service and reduces waiting times with Tabesto Tap to Pay kiosks
With over 11,000 possible dish combinations, Barak improves order taking, manages customer flow more efficiently, and increases average order value using Tabesto Tap to Pay kiosks.

The Tabesto kiosk is like my best employee for handling orders: always available, never sick, it increases the average ticket and simplifies everything, from upsells to training.
Today, it’s a central and indispensable tool in our operation.

Who is Barak?
Since 2018, Barak has been brightening meals with Eastern Mediterranean flavors, combining healthy, colorful, and flavorful cuisine.
With 2 restaurants in Paris, Barak attracts customers with generous portions and an unbeatable quality-price ratio.
From colorful bowls to custom-made “dwichs” with fresh ingredients, each customer can compose their meal according to their preferences, from indulgent to healthy.
This variety appeals to a wide audience, from teens seeking comforting street food to health-conscious diners.
Challenge: Simplify and improve ordering
Long and repetitive order-taking, combined with recruitment and training difficulties, led Barak to seek ways to optimize service and customer experience.
With over 11,000 possible combinations, Barak also wanted to make meal customization easier and more enjoyable for customers.
- Increase sales and optimize loyalty: boost upsells and simplify access to loyalty programs and promotions
- Improve team productivity: reduce repetitive order-taking and let staff focus on service
- Maintain a fast and efficient flow: handle personalized orders quickly without creating queues
- Offer a pleasant customer experience: allow each client to calmly compose their meal from 11,000 possible combinations
- Mitigate staffing issues: ensure smooth, fast service under any circumstance

Solution: Seamless autonomous ordering with kiosks
Barak installed Tap-to-Pay Tabesto kiosks in both restaurants, a model with integrated payement and no external card reader to modernize the ordering experience and simplify maintenance. The owner particularly appreciated the following benefits.
Integration with Zelty and Zerosix
The kiosks are fully connected to the Zelty POS, the core of Barak’s operations, and to the Zerosix loyalty program. Menus are managed directly from the POS, and orders are automatically sent to the kitchen. Customers can easily redeem points and promotions.
Sleek, Tap-to-Pay kiosks with minimal maintenance
The modern design of the Tap-to-Pay kiosks, with integrated contactless payment at the bottom of the screen, impressed Barak. No external card reader and printer means less maintenance: no paper rolls, no jams, no USB disconnections.
Easy installation: just one power outlet
Setup was quick and intuitive. One power outlet is enough for the kiosk to function. Installation is simple, with video tutorials if needed. The kiosks operate via Wi-Fi, and wall mounts or countertop stands fit seamlessly with the décor and flow of both restaurants.
Customer-friendly interface with photos
Customers can quickly see available options through attractive, personalized photos and short descriptions, making navigation simple and enjoyable.
Increased average ticket and upsells
Automatic suggestions for combos and additional items naturally boost the average ticket.
Better productivity and smoother service
With the kiosk, each customer can take the time to compose their meal without slowing down the flow. Staff are freed from repeating explanations and handling indecisive clients, allowing them to focus on service.
